Ever wonder what the WW1 weapons look like?

There are a couple of posts circulating about Battlefield’s weapons. The game as you know is set in the World War 1 era. Without an official list of weapons posted everyone is curious as to what it would include.

6 Weapon Categories of Battlefield 1

We don’t have the exact list of weapons for Battlefield. What we are sure of though is the different categories of weapons there is, and there will be six of them. Customization options will be available by the use of pre-set load outs which will however be limited. It has been done this way by the developers so “you’re still available  to customize your weapons to make sure they work with your play-style, but in a more focused way.”

Melee weapons have been popular during World War 1. There are a lot of types of melee weapons that have their own properties. Not only are they used for attacks, they can also be used for cutting barbed wires, shattering barricades and destroying vehicles. Bayonets which has also been a popular weapon of the era will allow you to execute head on attacks.

There will also be several grenades available with different kinds. Timing will be the key with this type of weapon to effectively kill enemies. Available grenades will range from the traditional frag grenades, gas grenades to incendiary grenades.

To complete the experience, DICE has added a “huge amount of real-world audio” recordings of these weapons. This will give you the best realistic sound effects available..

These weapons are just a few of the best things from Battlefield 1. Tell us in the comments which World War 1 weapon you are most excited about.
