Mafia 3 Has A New Video That Shows Its Uniqueness
Mafia 3 is going to be released very soon. I bet that fans of the Mafia series are curious as to how the game looks like now. A gameplay video of the game was published by the website Outside Xbox, where they have highlighted 5 features that makes Mafia III’s open world unique.
The first unique characteristic of the game is its City. A fictional location called the New Bordeaux in New Orleans with the date set in the 1960’s. The game offers a huge open world which even includes a bayou that is located in the Southern area of the map. According to the video, the areas in the game will “dramatically different than your average GTA clone.” The map also offers a more “conventional” downtown area.
The second thing to note is the Criminals. Don’t expect the criminals of the Mafia 3 to be the conventional, romanticized type. In Mafia 3, you play as Lincoln Clay, the protagonist who is seeking revenge n the Italian Mafia. Lincoln will be seeking help from the criminals of New Orleans as well as the Irish and Haitian gangs, a Mafia 2 character- Vitto Scaletta, as well as a sympathetic CIA. Don’t expect too much top hats and suites in this game.
The third on the list is Politics of the specific era. It centered on the Vietnam War as well as the tension that came with the African-American civil rights movement.
Soundtrack is the fourth in the list. It is set in the 1960’s and it included music from the Beach Boys, Aretha Franklin as well as the Rolling Stones.
The fifth is the unconventional Storyline the game offers. Giving the player the complete freedom to choose. Like choosing missions or picking which Mafia “under boss” you are as the game progresses.
