2016 Christmas Themed video games are festive and fit right like a glove with the Holiday Season. Characters are wearing Christmas themed outfits, battlegrounds have been decorated, special holiday missions were introduced and everything is done for the Holiday Season.

We’ve made a quick list of the games that have the Holiday Theme this Year.

2016 Christmas Themed Video Games:

Battlefield 1 (Holiday Event)

Dates: Now – December 29 Battlefield 1

Battlefield 1 joined into the festive season by having a new game mode called “Blind Delivery” where you are able to use War Pigeons. A “Holiday Truce” dog tag and vehicle skins were also made available. And battle packs had also been given out.

Call of Duty Infinite Warfare (12 Days of Winter Event)

Dates: Now – January 1 Call of Duty Infinite Warfare

12 Days of Winter event is what Call of Duty Infinite Warfare has up their sleeves! Here, players are invited to log in each day for 12 days in order to get a free item. Gifts are available from 9 PM PT up until 8:59 PM PT the next day.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered

Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered has a new holiday-themed map called the Winter Crash for this Holiday Season.

Dead Rising 4 (Christmas DLC)

Celebrate the holiday season with Dead Rising 4 with their Stocking Stuffer Holiday Pack. Here West and most of the zombies are dressed up as elves and snowmen. Have a merry FUTmas with FIFA 17. FUTmas (FIFA Ultimate Team) will give you new challenges, mystery packs and will have you joining special tournaments.

Final Fantasy XIV (Starlight Celebrations)

Bring “merriment and good cheer to the boys and girls of the local children’s ward” in Final Fantasy XIV’s Starlight Celebration. This holiday quest is known as ‘Naughty or Nice’. To join, you must look for and talk to Amh Garanjy in Ul’dah.

Final Fantasy XV

Get to have festive goodies as well as holiday photo frames in the Christmas updates in Final Fantasy XV.

Gears of War

Gears of War has 2 new Christmas themed map for everyone as well as a huge new patch with awesome features.

Grand Theft Auto V

GTA Online is celebrating Christmas with snow, a new Adversary Mode called Juggernaut, new content and much much more.

Guild Wars (Wintersday)

Guild Wars has a Winter’s Day event that will have it’s players experiencing snow this season. There will also be new Christmas decorations, new puzzles, as well as gifts and holiday themed items.

Heroes of the Storm (Winter Veil Event)

As with every year, the annual Winter Veil is here! Get to play 25 games during this event and two rewards will be made available to you (the Snowflake portrait and the Treasure Goblin mount).

Hitman (Holiday Hoarders)

This holiday season, The King of Fighters has a DLC costume and original themes for the pop idol Athena Amiya for PS4. Grab this DLC while it is still free, as announced soon after this will become a paid DLC.

Minecraft (Festive Mash-Up Pack)

The holiday update of Minecraft will give you new mobs, blocks, items and so much more. It’s Merry Bundle will have the Festive Mash-Up Pack, Skin-Pack and Battle Map. This will be available for $6.

Overcooked (Festive Seasoning)

Date: Now

Get on cooking with the new free DLC of Overcooked! The DLC is called Festive Seasoning that has 8 co-op levels which are found in a Winter Lodge theme. Also included are 2 additional chefs: a snowman and reindeer; two new recipes: turkey and stew; a flame thrower; Santa hats; and a snowmobile and a winter map!

Overwatch (Winter Wonderland Event)

Date: Now – January 2

Overwatch has a winter wonderland event that has themed costumes for its heroes as well as a new emotes and voice lines. There are maps that have been transformed to winter wonderlands as well.

Planet Coaster

Date: Now

Decorate your park appropriately to the season! The new Planet Coaster holiday-themed content will give you various holiday themed items as well as the Festive King roller coaster with the iron horse transport, sleigh ride, and a cool winter theme.

Pokemon Go

Date: Now – January 8 Get to see Pikachu is a Santa hat in Pokemon Go up until January 3. Having better chances of hatching new Pokemon are also available up until January 3 and an original starter Pokemon will be available from December 30 up until January 8.

Rainbow Six Siege

Dates: Now – January 3

Rainbow Six Siege has certain challenges for you this holiday season which will give you some cool Christmas themed rewards.

Rollercoaster Tycoon World

Dates: Now

Fix your park to the Christmas theme in Rollercoaster Tycoon World. Use snow globes, gingerbread men, and Santa’s sleigh and a snowman as decorations of your park!

Street Fighter 5

Dates: Now – January 17

Festive costumes are available for the Street Fighter 5 characters for this Christmas Season. A holiday decorated battle area is also available. You can purchase these as a bundle for $20. Each costume is $4 and the battle area is $2.

World of Warcraft (Feast of Winter Veil)

Date: December 16 – January 2

World of Warcraft has a lot for you this Christmas season! Feast of the Winter Veil (December 12 – January 2), where you will rescue a reindeer named Metzen, retrieve a stolen present as well as eat eggnog. From December 25 – 31 you can receive free Winter’s Veil Gifts from the Winter’s Veil Tree!
