Resident Evil 7 DLC

This coming Spring, expect to see a free Resident Evil 7 DLC as announced by Capcom. This is in addition to the paid season pass that was recently announced that includes the “additional story episode” and two volumes of “banned footage” which both has three episodes each.

As seen in the post of Famitsu (translated by Gematsu) the DLC is a short-story scenario called “Not A Hero”. There is very little detail about the DLC available right now, however, NeoGAF states that he has additional information.

In the NeoGAF article, it is reported that the free DLC will be released in May (no specific date was stated). Also, the short-story scenario has a different protagonist, however, this story will interconnect with the game’s main story. “It is a side-story that helps fill in some of the blanks in RE7’s plot”. The gameplay would also be different describing it as a “different taste” of gameplay as compared to the main game.
