It seems that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Early Access is very popular on Steam. The game still reached the number 1 spot as the top-selling game since its launch as an early access game although it experienced minor issues early on. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds took the top spot from Grand Theft Auto 5 who is now in second place.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is one of the most watched games on Twitch, as Eurogamer reported.

Brendan Greene or also known as Player Unknown is the brains behind PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. With the help of Bluehole, a Korean developer, Battlegrounds was able to see the light of day. Greene is no stranger to the battle royale genre since he is also behind the mods of Arma 2 and Arma 3. He was also asked to work on the H1Z1 battle royale mode called H1Z1 King of the Kill by Daybreak Studios.

Do expect PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds to be full of issues since it is still in Early Access. Feedback could help the team very much. Share your comments with them on the reviews on the game’s Steam page.
