About this game

Since the 1980s a devastating weather phenomenon has left most of the world frozen over in a never-ending snowstorm after a while the snow-breeds start appearing mindless zombie-like creatures. After The Fall is a VR co-op zombie shooter made by Vertigo Games partly inspired by the gameplay loop of the Left 4 Dead franchise. Set in the frozen ruins of Los Angeles 20 years after the initial disaster, since then people have discovered that inside the snow-breeds are untapped energy reserves that can be used to fuel anything, escape LA and use the Snow-Breeds as fuel.

• After The Fall has full cross-platform capabilities so you can invite players to play multiplayer worldwide with ease, join 4-player co-op PVE lobbies or if you prefer to play alone you can but the player will be forced to play with 4 AI companions that’s not as sharp as a real human.
• Make use of the real-life-like movement system that makes the game more immersive from the get-go, craft items, upgrade weapons, use powers, and wield and master a variety of weapons.
• While the vast majority of Snow-breeds are just mindless zombies some of them have though have developed special mutations that make them into hulking armored brutes, a gigantic bullet sponge of an enemy, and many more.
• After you have exhausted the PVE aspect of the game you can join 4v4 PVP mode lobbies with their own special maps for such occasions.

The Launch Edition of this game includes the base game of After the Fall, the preorder bonus if you bought the game before its official release and the launch Edition bonuses which cover a whole season of post-release content.
