
Amazon’s New World Launch Date Moved to August
The New World launch date has been delayed to August 2020. According to a blog post, the developer, Amazon, announced that they have been working on the game from their own houses because of the pandemic COVID-19, that is why they have decided to delay the game.

The developer explains “While we are still making great progress, developing an ambitious MMO like New World remotely has introduced some challenges. We want to make sure that we have the time needed to make New World the very best it can be for our players”.
Amazon also said that although they are still aiming to reach their “quality bar”. Also, they are placing their team’s health and safety as their number one priority, so that none would experience the effects of the virus.
The blog post reads “We hope you understand our decision to protect our team during these uncertain times while we re-focus on a timeline that will ensure New World is the best possible game it can be”.
Right now, the game’s Alpha is still available, but the Closed Beta will be rescheduled to July 2020.
The release updates of the game, like the New World launch date, will be seen in the game’s official media platforms.
