Announcements for Nintendo E3 2017

Check out the huge announcements from the Nintendo E3 2017 showcase!


Here are the few announcements available for Metroid:

  • Metroid Prime 4 is going to be available on the Nintendo Switch, however, there is no specific release date for it right now.
  • Metroid: Samus Returns will launch for Nintendo 3DS on September 25. This specific game was based on Metroid II: Return of Samus which is another Metroid game.


This side-scrolling game is coming to the Nintendo Switch and is scheduled to release next year. The game actually does not have an official title as of yet. The video presentation revealed a four player co-op platforming game. Kirby also has the power to make friends from enemies which can be controlled by another player or a CPU.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

The Nintendo E3 2017 announced that two expansions for the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The Master of Trials, the first DLC will launch on June 30th.

The Champions Ballad, the second expansion will launch during the holidays of this year. There are also new Amiibos for Urbosa, Mipha, Daruk, and Revali.

Pokken Tournament DX

Pokken Tournament DX is a Nintendo Switch version of Pokken Tournament. Check out the video below that showcases the game’s gameplay.

Rocket League

Nintendo Switch is getting a major game which is Rocket League! It has been announced that the game launches during the holiday season of this year. This version of the game includes all the great content that are included in the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version of the game. Plus a few additions.

Exclusive content will also come to the Nintendo Switch version of the game. It includes toppers and a couple of cars. This will also support cross-network play and local play between Switch devices. Platforms supported by the cross network play was not revealed as of yet.

Super Mario Odyssey

Super Mario Odyssey gets a release date and it is set to launch on October 27, 2017. An amazing feature of the game is its co-op gameplay. The other player can play as Mario’s hat, “Cappy”.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Coming in the holidays of 2017 is Xenoblade Chronicles 2 which will be available on Nintendo Switch as well. Watch the presentation trailer below:

Fire Emblem Warriors

Fire Emblem Warriors is coming to the Nintendo Switch. This hack-and-slash adventure game releases this Fall. You can watch the video below.


Remember Yoshi? A game about this loveable dinosaur is coming to Nintendo Switch in 2018. Just like Kirby, this doesn’t have a title as well. Know how the gameplay is with the video shared below:
