Apex Legends Announced Fight or Fright Event

Respawn Entertainment seems to be excited about the Halloween season. They were able to announce the “Fight of Fright” Collection Event that is coming to their free-to-play battle royale shooter Apex Legends. Since it is a collection event, this means that players would have to collect all the time-limited cosmetics available during this time.

With the Fight or Fright, a limited-time game mode called ‘Shadowfall’ is available. This will have a nighttime version of the recently removed King’s Canyon Map. There will be 35 solo players in a free-for-all battle royale. There is a twist in the game though, the players that had fallen will actually respawn as an undead and is capable of dealing melee damage as well as climb walls when there are only 10 players left, they would all need to work together and kill off the undead and then go to the evacuation ship in order to survive and win the match.

The collection part of the event offers players 24 new cosmetic items that can be crafted with crafting materials or bought using Apex Legends coins. An open event called Apex Packs that will come with one guaranteed event item as well as two non-event items.

Completing the Fight or Fright cosmetics will give players the Lifeline Heirloom set that is absolutely free.

The Fight or Fright Apex Legends event will start on October 15th and will be available until November 15th. During this time, players will get double Top 5 & Wins XP from October 25th to the 28th.
