EA and Respawn were able to share a proper trailer for Apex Legends’ character Crypto. This is actually the first time that Crypto will be having his very own trailer as we have seen him previously in the game’s last season as well as the last two trailers. We get to discover that Crypto had been framed for corporate espionage as well as murder, forcing him to leave his former identity and life.

Crypto as we know him, had been born as Tae-Jun Park. He is a popular hacker as well as an engineering and robotics master. According to the trailer, his role is more on the support side, telling his team the locations of the enemies as well as disabling the fortifications so that his teammates could attack. But, of course, if he still needs to, he can shoot down the enemies without a problem.

We also get to watch another trailer from EA and this time it is about the Meltdown Battle Pass. It is just a quick peek but we do get to see that it will have some daily and weekly challenges, Apex Packs, crafting metals, Apex coins, and all-new Legendary Longbow plus 3 Legendary Legend skins available immediately. Progressing through the 100 levels of the pass will unlock the other items.

If the pass is bought in the middle of the season, players are still able to enjoy all the characters in it. But if the season is over, the rewards that were not unlocked will no longer be available.

Apex Legends Season 3 Meltdown is ongoing. This is available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
