The Battlefield 2042 update 1.2 is here and it includes some balance changes, quality of life improvements, and bug fixes.

Battlefield 2042 Update 1.2 Details

  • New cover assets, map positions, terrain elevations, and visual updates are done to the Kaleidoscope map.
  • The character models of Specialists have been updated.
  • The RAH-68 Huron and YG-99 Hannibal 30mm Cannon have reduced power and overheating now happens at a faster rate.
  • In-game player profiles and statistics are now available.
  • Adjusted Aim Assist for controllers for consistent and smoother tracking.
  • BSV-M full auto mode comes with a new accuracy penalty as it is affected by High Power rounds that are fired at long distances.
 

Other notable changes are the new scroll menu when viewing weapon attachments, Quad Bike vehicles now respond to ModBuilder blocks, and AI soldiers are now able to fly planes.

   

The Battlefield 2042 update 1.2 will be the last big update until the launch of Season 2.
