Battlefield 5 Closed Alpha System Requirements Announced!
The invites for the Battlefield 5 closed alpha has gone out. These had only been a small number of selected players chosen to participate in stress testing the servers as well as improve some aspects of the game. The event starts today at 9AM BST or 10 AM CEST. A list of system requirements has also been announced for the minimum and recommended specs for the alpha.
In case you were able to get the invite and is not sure if your PC rig can play in the closed alpha you can check out the list below as your reference.
Minimum requirements:
- Operating System: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10
- Processor (AMD): AMD FX-8350
- Processor (Intel): Core i5 6600K
- Memory: 8GB RAM
- Graphics card (NVIDIA): NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 1050 / GTX 660 2GB
- Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon™ HD 7850 2GB
- DirectX version: 11.0 Compatible video card or equivalent
- Internet: 512 KBPS or faster, stable Internet connection
- Free hard-drive space: 50GB

- Processor (Intel): Intel Core i7 4790 or equivalent
- Memory: 16GB RAM 12GB RAM
- Graphics card (NVIDIA): NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 1060 3GB
- Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon™ RX 480 4GB
- DirectX: 11.1 Compatible video card or equivalent
- Internet: 512 KBPS or faster, stable Internet connection
- Free hard drive space: 50GB
The closed alpha will have the Conquest mode as well as the Grand Operation Fall of Norway. The Grand Operation Fall of Norway will have two modes put together which are Airborne and Breakthrough and it will take place on the map of Arctic Fjord.
