Blizzard Efi Oladele As Possibly The Next Overwatch Character

The possible new Overwatch character is Efi Oladele. This was seen in an interview on the game’s website. Efi is a young girl (eleven years old) from the city of Numbani in Africa. What makes her special is her great knowledge of robotics and artificial intelligence at her tender age.

The post further says that Efi is a recipient of the prestigious Adawe Foundation’s “genius award” in order to recognize her numerous accomplishments.

The “interview” which is called “Spotlight on Numbani” is hinting on Efi or perhaps one of her creations is the next character in Overwatch. Efi was asked about what she intends to do with her grants, she answers with a mysterious…”Oh…I have an idea…” but keeps it a secret for the time being. She did say, though, that her parents plan to take her on a trip to celebrate her accomplishment.

The hint on whether one of her creations will be the next character is when she said that her dream was to make something “to keep us safe, like the new OR15s.”

All of these are speculations as of now and not a confirmation. We have to wait for Blizzard to officially announce who the next Overwatch hero is. Remember when Jeff Kaplan burst our bubble when we were happy for Doomfist as the next Character? Let us stay tuned.

The Next Overwatch Character Is Not Doomfist After All So the rumor is not true, the Terry Crews-voiced Doomfist Overwatch character is not the next in line. This confirmation came from the Director Jeff Kaplan himself.
