Borderlands 3 Launches on Steam, CrossPlay Available with Epic

Finally, Borderlands 3 launches on Steam. The game first released on Epic on September 13, 2019, as a timed exclusive. Now that it is also available on Steam, crossplay has been announced.

The Steam release will come with all the updates as well as bonus add-ons that had been launched for the Epic version.

The cross play ability across the PC platforms include adding friends to your Friends List and joining co-op parties. In the future, mailing weapons between the PC platforms will be available as well.

Game exclusives had been previously a complaint of gamers since it splits up the player base. But with the new crossplay being available across the PC platforms, then that wouldn’t be a problem anymore.

Right now crossplay is not available with PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Stadia, but it might be in the near future.

Season Pass owners are able to get their hands on the game’s next paid campaign which is the Guns, Love and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock on March 28, 2020.
