Borderlands 3 System Requirements Announced
Borderlands 3 is arriving very soon and because of that, Gearbox Studios shared the needed System Requirements for the game. This would be enough time for you to spruce up your rigs if you would need to, however, you may not need to upgrade anything as the requirements are pretty fair.
There were only two specifications shared by Gearbox, one of which is a 1080p experience and the other for 4K. Previous Borderlands games had uncomplicated specs before, and it seems that they will keep it that way with this third game.

- OS – Windows 7/8/10 (latest service pack)
- Processor – AMD FX-8350 (Intel i5-3570)
- Memory – 6GB RAM
- Graphics card – AMD Radeon™ HD 7970 (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 2GB)
- HDD – 75 GB
RECOMMENDED SPECS 1440P Gaming
- OS – Windows 7/8/10 (latest service pack)
- Processor – AMD Ryzen™ 5 2600 (Intel i7-4770)
- Memory – 16GB RAM
- Graphics card – AMD Radeon™ RX 590 (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB)
- HDD – 75 GB
Another thing that Gearbox wants players to know about is that they are able to tweak the graphics options to have the best results on their rigs. A list has been shared which includes the complete list of all of the game’s adjustable graphics as well as all the different settings for each. Another thing that Gearbox was able to announce is that they were able to partner up with AMD for the game’s development. What we can expect from this are better optimizations for DirectX and Vulkan API. We may also see possible AMD hardware bundled up with the game for sale.
Borderlands 3 will be releasing on September 13 available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PC launch will be an Epic Games Store timed exclusive.
