Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Survival Mode is a Timed Exclusive For PlayStation 4
Activision and Sony has another timed-exclusive deal just like what they had with Call of Duty Black Ops III in 2015. In Black Ops III, downloadable content would be made available for PlayStation 4 a month earlier before reaching PC and Xbox One. With Call of Duty Modern Warfare, it is a similar thing but with the game’s Survival Mode.
The Call of Duty Modern Warfare Survival Mode, however, will be available for PC and Xbox One a year after its release for the PlayStation 4 which is on October 1, 2020. The game’s Survival Mode will allow players to take on hordes of enemies coming in waves and different levels.
The timed exclusivity for the Survival Mode is a game-changer for Call of Duty, as previous agreements had only been for a month at a time. This could hurt sales of the game for PC and Xbox One.
