  Cyberpunk 2077 Review

The settlement had CD Projekt Red pay $1.85 million to the game’s investors. The class action lawsuit stated that the developer said “misleading statements” about the game’s status before it was supposed to launch in December of 2022.

It was claimed that Cyberpunk 2077 was “virtually unplayable” on PS4 and Xbox One. Also, it was claimed that the developers knew about this but didn’t disclose it to the investors and players.

Since the launch of Cyberpunk 2077, it has gotten a lot of patches and updates which were able to fix the stability issues and problems across all its platforms.

At the end of 2022, CD Projekt Red reported that Cyberpunk 2077 was able to get an increase of almost 70% in profits. This is thanks to the fixes and patches that the game received. Part of the increase in the game’s sales is also credited to the launch of the popular Netflix anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.

With Cyberpunk 2077 doing alright, the efforts of CD Projekt Red are now towards the new Witcher game as well as the new Cyberpunk 2077 DLC featuring Idris Elba.
