Days Gone was made available for PC last May 18, 2021 and since its launch, the game was able to sell more than a million copies according to its creator, Jeff Ross.

Ross’ tweet read, “When I left Sony, Days Gone had been out for a year and a half (and a month) and had sold over 8 million copies. Since then it has sold even more and then over a million on Steam. The local studio management always made us feel like it was a big disappointment.”

His tweet quotes Game Informer’s tweet about Ghost of Tsushima selling over 8 million copies.
