Destroy All Humans Gameplay Featured In IGN Expo Day 4

Black Forest Games was recently interviewed in the IGN Expo where they presented a 12-minute Destroy All Humans gameplay. The game is expected to launch next month.

Destroy All Humans first launched in 2005 and the developers would want the remake to be both a trip down memory lane as well as a mix of something new. Denis Schiefer of Black Forest Games said in the IGN interview that “

According to the game’s official site, the game is described as:

“The cult-classic returns! Terrorize the people of 1950s Earth in the role of the evil alien Crypto-137. Harvest DNA and bring down the US government in the remake of the legendary alien invasion action-adventure. Annihilate puny humans using an assortment of alien weaponry and psychic abilities. Reduce their cities to rubble with your flying Saucer! One giant step on mankind!”

Fans of the original game should not worry as the core gameplay is still available with the combat, psychic abilities and UFO combat in addition there will now be synergies added between weapons and psychic powers. An example of this is using your telekinesis while you throw a grenade. This will make the throw even further like a rocket. Another great addition is the direction where in which you are able to fire your death ray from your spaceship. Players are now able to point the death ray downward, have you seen Independence Day? It’s like that exactly.

The game’s controls were tweaked a bit. It now has a new Lock-on System, a new dash move, as well as a skate ability. Of course, the humor that the game is known for is also present.

Destroy All Humans will be launching on July 28, 2020 and is available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
