Diablo 4 Officially Announced During BlizzCon 2019

Blizzard started BlizzCon 2019 with a bang by starting it off with a cinematic trailer of the next Diablo game – Diablo 4! The video officially announced this much-anticipated entry for the series.
We get to see the announcement trailer showing off what looks like an ancient temple being raided by four men. There are some horrendous looking creatures in the temple. As the men go deeper they realize that the location is the ritual site for summoning the Creator of Sanctuary – Lilith.
Get to watch the complete trailer below:
Making the announcement complete, Blizzard also shared a gameplay trailer that features an introduction to three of the classes which are the Barbarian, Druid, and Sorsocress.
Check out the very first gameplay trailer for Diablo 4 below:
Luis Barriaga, the game director said that this 4th outing has some elements from the first three games. The aesthetics of the game will also be darker and verticality is introduced in the maps. An example of this is the Barbarian throwing off an enemy using his iconic Leonidas kick, he then decides to go down the cliff as well and smashes his weapon on the ground.
During the announcement, there was no launch date given but if you think about it, there are some clues as to when it will launch. One is that there were only three classes featured which means that there might be quite a lot of development to finish. Number two, it was said in the announcement that the game will be available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Knowing that the next-gen consoles will be available by next year during the holiday season, then the game may be coming out sometime before then.
Since there are only a few information available, it is anyone’s guess when the game will arrive and what the other classes will be available.
