DIABLO 4 WON’T HAVE ITEM SETS DURING LAUNCH

 

Diablo 4 will launch without any item sets as announced by Blizzard. Item sets will still be available though but it will be a little later in the game.

Item sets had been an important part of the game because it brings huge bonuses to a player’s skills.

Joe Shely, the game director said that Diablo 4 will still feature item sets but there will be a new system for its implementation and Blizzard would need a little more time to get everything correct.

Blizzard’s goal is for Diablo 4 players to have more freedom when creating their characters. They would want players to have a deeper as well as a more rewarding system in creating builds.

You can get to try this when the Diablo 4 open beta opens. The announcement for it is expected to be during the IGN Fan Fest 2023, this February 17th.
