Diverse Selection of Games Coming to Xbox Game Pass

According to Xbox Game Studios, the Xbox Game Pass is getting a more diverse selection of games and not just AAA games.

Insider Klobrille was asked if Xbox Game Studios is open to “continued investment in smaller, experimental, and riskier games like Battletoad, Grounded, etc.”. The question was posted by a user in ResetEra.

Klobrille answered that Xbox doesn’t want its studios to be “AAA-only machineries” because that would be detrimental and it will not be good with the Game Pass as well.

He added that it is important to have a balance between the small and big games. He also said that the difference with the Xbox first-party games is the active development. Examples of these games are Grounded, As Dusk Falls, and Project Mara.

If a studio wants to, then we can look forward to experimental titles in the Game Pass in the future.
