Last June 10, 2017, E3 started EA Play 2017. It is packed with what we can expect in the gaming world for this year. So today, we are bringing you the important details of the announcement shared. Trailers of announced games are also shared below. Enjoy reading on.

New IP from Bioware – Anthem

Coming the Fall of 2018 is a new IP called Anthem. This game will come to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Take the role of a “freelancer” with a Javelin (customizable exosuit) in this sci-fi action game that is set in an open world. You are able to craft and acquire new gear that you are able to equip. It offers multiplayer co-op with up to four players for you to team up with to finish missions. You can watch the Anthem gameplay below as revealed by Microsoft at the E3 Conference.

Star Wars Battlefront 2


Check out the announced updates for Star Wars Battlefront 2:

  • Instead of a Star Wars Battlefront 2 season pass, there is a themed DLC for free. The DLC is planned to be released in “seasons” with the very first one arriving this December.
  • The DLC’s are free but the game includes some microtransactions as confirmed by EA.

New Co-op Game – A Way Out

From the creator of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is a new co-op action-adventure video game called Way Out. The story is of two convicts who escaped from prison and are now on the run.

Need for Speed Payback


Need for Speed Payback is coming to us on November 10, 2017, as announced recently, it is available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Check out the gameplay video below which looks like a Fast and Furious movie.

There are three different characters for you to control as you to control as you fight against the criminal cartel.

This World War 1 shooter is still very in demand! This month it will receive awesome new content. Regular updates will be available for players who own Battlefield 1 Premium.

  • Name of the Tsar is a new expansion that will be released in September. Is is a Russian themed expansion. It includes six maps, the Russian Army, and the Women’s Battalion of Death. These will also be a “deep player progression” that includes multi battle experiences included in the Operation’s game mode.

  • In addition to what is stated above are two new nighttime French maps. The first map is Nivelle Nights coming this month and Prise de Tahure which is coming in July.



Similar to FIFA 17, the newest game will also have a story mode which is called The Journey 2: Hunter Returns. This continues the story of Alex Hunter from the previous game. FIFA 18’s cover is graced by Cristiano Ronaldo. We can expect this game by September 29 available for PC via Origin, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Madden NFL 18

A first from the franchise, Madden NFL 18 features a story mode named Long Shot. Kind of like that of FIFA 18, this will follow the journey of a player from a rough beginning and into glory in football.

NFL 18 launches on August, available for all platforms.

NBA Live 18

Making a comeback is the NBA Live franchise. With this EA plans to bring something different to the genre of basketball video games. As we all know it is dominated right now by the NBA 2K franchise. A main feature of the game is a mode that is like THE ONE on RPG game.

The One offers players the chance to customize a character and watch him grow into a great football player. Another feature of the game includes the 5-on-5 street matches that are played real-life courts. This is a returning mode called Street Ball. A demo for NBA Live 18 is available in August; the progress during the demo can be carried over to the full game when the game launches. Right now, no specific date was set for the game’s launch but EA mentioned that it could be on September this year.

EA/Origin Access Free Week

Andre Wilson, the CEO of EA made an announcement that a free trial of Origin Access is available if you sign up before June 19. When you sign up, a paid monthly or a yearly subscription if offered. This can be canceled anytime during the free trial so that no charges would occur.

The Origin Access gives players exclusive access to many EA games that can be played without any restriction. The subscription to Origin Access offers a 10% discount on the game’s you buy through Origin.
