The very first DLC story expansion of Dying Light 2 will be available before the game ends as announced by Techland.

Tymon Smektala, the game designer of Dying Light 2 Stay Human said that the first story DLC of the game will happen before the game ends.

Rumors were circulating that the Dying Light 2 story expansion will be launching after the game’s end.

Smektala debunked the rumor by saying that the reports “weren’t close to the mark”. The DLC will actually be running “sideways to the main events.”

Right now, there are two DLC’s of the game that are in development however no specific information about them was made available.

Smektala said that they would want to keep players in the dark about the DLCs for right now.

The DLC could be anything from additional game endings or additional twists to a branching storyline.
