Elden Ring Rating: M for Mature

FromSoftware’s upcoming RPG called Elden Ring has been rated by the ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) as Mature 17+.

Elden Ring Gets a Mature Rating from the ESRB

ESRB’s rating of Mature 17+ for Elden Ring shares with us some of the things that we can expect in the game.

The description states that Elden Ring is an “action role-playing game in which players assume the role of a character trying to retrieve a magical ring and become the Elden Lord.”

Players are able to defeat enemies in melee combat using “swords, spears, axes, arrows, and magic”.

The game also comes with “depictions of gore: collectible items that include severed fingers and tongues; a boss character cutting off its arm; severed arms hanging from a ceiling”.

What we know so far about the game is that it offers a Dark Souls-like experience.
