Electronic Arts Announced EA Play 2020 Coming This June

EA Play 2020, an online-only event has been announced by Electronic Arts. This will be on the same weekend as E3 before it had been canceled.
As with every E3 event, EA usually opens it. However, since E3 has been canceled, EA took advantage of the date.
For the year 2020 EA Play will be a digital event that will be streamed on EA.com. Normally, during E3 events, those present are able to try out some demos. Hopefully, those demos are still available with the online event.
Right now, the only confirmed games that are available in the event are the sports-based games like FIFA 21, Madden NFL 21, and NHL 21.
It seems like the only option for EA Play is to go digital when it comes to events because of the pandemic.
E3 at first was doubtful when it came to canceling the event. But huge companies like PlayStation said that they won’t be attending the event because they would want to prioritize the health of their staff and the attendees.
Other companies are also looking for other ways to host their own digital events like Ubisoft and Microsoft.
EA Play 2020 is set to take place on June 9th to the 11th at 4 PM PT. It can be watched live on EA.com.
