THE WITCHER 3: WILD HUNT – NEXT-GEN UPGRADE IS FREE

 

CD Projekt Red shared some of the updates for their free next-gen upgrade for The Witcher 3 via a Twitch stream.

  The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Next-Gen  

The next-gen upgrade is said to add more quests, new customization options, ray tracing and many more to the game.

Also included in the update are the upgraded visuals on PC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Console players will have the option to choose between 30 fps with ray tracing or 60 fps with ray tracing.

   

Cross-progression is also included with players being able to save between their PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.

The new quest for The Witcher 3 will reward players with new outfits and armor that is based on The Witcher’s Henry Cavil.

  The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Gameplay  

Different quality-of-life improvements are also included like a new cinematic mode that is able to move the camera closer behind Geralt, magic usage, event activation, and changes to the mini-map.

The Witcher 3 next-gen upgrade is set to launch on December 14 and is absolutely free.
