Savvy Gaming Buys ESL Gaming

 

ESL Gaming has been the biggest esports organizer around the world. They are the ones responsible for ESL Pro Tour, Dreamhack, and Intel Extreme Masters.

  how much was ESL bought for?  

Savvy Gaming Group bought ESL for $1.05 billion. They are merging it with another esports platform that they recently bought which is FACEIT.

Now called ESL FACEIT, their combined companies would have shared knowledge in creating and running huge esports tournaments for StarCraft II, Rainbow Six: Siege, and CS:GO.
