Evo 2019 Biggest Reveals!

Evo 2019 has concluded this weekend and as with what happens yearly a number of big announcements were shared aside from the epic matches witnessed. We have for you the quick list of what the developers and publishers announced in the event.

NOTE: The next DLC character for Street Fighter 5 had been revealed early by Capcom because of an unintended leak found on Steam. You can check out more information about this in this article.

TEKKEN 7 SEASON PASS 3

Bandai Namco was able to announce that Tekken 7 will be getting another season’s worth of new content. This will come as a free major update that will give some characters new moves. Also, the third season pass will come with four additional characters plus a new stage and a new “feature”. This coming September, we will get to see the return of Zafina as wells as the return of the all-new character Leroy Smith.

SOULCALIBUR 6 SEASON PASS 2

A new season pass is coming to SoulCalibur 6. The season pass will bring four additional characters to the game. One of the characters is actually a guest character from Samurai Shodown and it is Hoahmaru. Season 2 will also come with a new gameplay mechanic that we are able to see in the trailer above.

The final character for the game’s first season pass had also been revealed by Bandai Namco and it is Cassandra, a fan favorite. Her reveal trailer is available above.

DRAGON BALL FIGHTERZ NEXT DLC CHARACTERS

Another thing that Bandai Namco was able to reveal is the next three characters coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ. The first one is a demon that was featured in the movie Dragon Ball Z Fusion Reborn. He is none other but the main antagonist Janemba. The second character is Gogeta in its SSGSS form. The third one is Broly’s Dragon Ball Super version. Janemba will be joining the roster on August 8th.

BLAZBLUE CROSS TAG BATTLE VERSION 2.0

The update version 2.0 has been announced for Blazblue CrossTag Battle. This massive update comes with nine new characters. Four of which had been revealed during EVO 2019 and they are Akatsuki and Blitztank from Akatsuki Blitzkampf, Yumi from Senran Kagura and Neo Politan from RWBY. This update will be available by November 21.

NEW GUILTY GEAR TEASER

A new Guilty Gear game had been announced to be in the works by Arc System Works and that it has an expected release date of 2020. It looks like matches will be much more cinematic as seen in the trailer. In the end, a new character has been teased as well.

SAMURAI SHODOWN SEASON PASS REVEAL

The reboot of Samurai Shodown is doing well and SNK seems very happy about it. They were able to reveal that four additional characters will be available with the season pass plus they will be adding one free character which is Shizumaru Hisame. One character will be made available per month starting on August 7th with Rimururu.

A second season pass had also been revealed for next year and it will come with an additional four characters. The first character will be Mina Makijima who topped the DLC character popularity poll of the game.

THE KING OF FIGHTERS 15

SNK was also able to reveal that The King of Fighters 15 is actually in development. Nothing else was shared for the game aside from its logo. We are sure that this will not disappoint especially if it is anything like the Samurai Shodown reboot.
