The Overwatch Rate This Match feature was removed with the launch of Patch 1.12. ‘Rate this Match’ is a three-star rating system that allows players to rate a match after it is played. This system started during the Overwatch beta stages.

The move was not announced by Blizzard, but players did take notice and went to the forums to demand answers.

Jeff Kaplan, the game’s director explains, “We had high hopes for this feature but after the year of the game being live and an extended period in beta, all we learned from the feature was new players used the Rate this Match feature more than existing players.” He also adds, “We want to reduce as much clutter in the UI as possible and seeing as we were not getting tremendous results from the feature, we decided to remove it.”
