Far Cry Primal New Survivor Mode Now Here!
The new Far Cry Primal Survivor Mode will definitely change how you play the game. Far Cry Primal is already tough as it is but with this new mode, the whole experience will be very difficult. It is tough as tough could get.
We’ve listed the major changes that you will experience in the Survivor Mode.
No More Minimap– Keep your senses keen as possible, because without the minimap you will no longer be warned of the dangers in your vicinity. You must pay close attention to your surroundings.
Daytime is Less Populated– It will be safer for you to explore the world of Oros in the daytime as it will be less populated. Dangers still lurk around so you must keep your guard up.
Sleep For Recovery– When you over exert Takkar, he will lose stamina and will cause him to be weak and slow. When this happens you must look for a bed and sleep to be able to recover.
Fast Travel– When you use Fast Travel in Survivor Mode, food and energy will be lost. When you do this and don’t have sufficient food or energy, you will find yourself in a very difficult situation.
Not So Sturdy Weapons– As with the wear and tear of items, your weapon will be the same. Especially in close combat which may shatter it to pieces. You can still craft one, if your weapon happens to break but it does take some time and it will leave you vulnerable in the game. You will also find out that the materials are limited for you to craft weapons, so you must take care of it.
Permadeath– This raises the bar quite high when playing the Survivor Mode. This leaves you with one very fragile life in the game. Your companion does suffer the same fate, as you cannot bring them back to life once they are dead. Take your time and review your game tactics, remember not to rush into anything, especially attacking enemies, to keep you alive for longer.
Far Cry Primal Survivor Mode is now available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
