Finalists For 2020 Independent Games Festival Awards Revealed
The 2020 Independent Games Festival (IGF) Awards is set to launch this March. This is when the best indie games of 2019 are given tribute.
There had been over 300 judges as well as an initial list of 550 nominees. The list had been trimmed down to only the best of the best. The post-apocalyptic adventure game by Die Gute Fabrik is leading with nominations in four of the categories. Other games that are aiming for the grand prize are the Untitled Goose Game as well as the roguelike deck builder Slay The Spire.

The 2020 Independent Game Festival Awards will be held on March 18th in San Francisco, California, USA, during the Games Developers Conference (GDC). The GDC is actually scheduled starting March 16th up until the 20th. The event will be available through the official GDC Twitch channel. The IGF Awards will be hosted by the same person who hoster the 2018 event, League of Geeks director, Trent Kusters.
