For Honor Closed Alpha Ended Up Being The Biggest For Ubisoft

The For Honor Closed Alpha was able to get a huge amount of players during its run.

The closed alpha run for four days from September 15 until September 18. It had been so popular that the many gamers that were chosen to play did so. The reports said that the gamers spent an average of four hours and thirty-eight minutes playing the game. Each day those numbers would go up. The report also added that one-third of all active players joined in at least three out of the four days the closed alpha was running.

The closed alpha was so popular that it actually reached the “second-most watched title” on And during the dates of the closed alpha, it was consistently in the top 10 most watched videos.

“There were close to 5.8 million executions and 89.6 million warriors defeated during the testing period,” according to VG247.

Ubisoft had been known to have immense betas and alphas. An example is The Division which was able to generate 6.4 million players. With For Honor’s great start, surely it will overshadow The Division’s record.

There are no specific dates yet for the beta, but sure enough, it will be posted soon.

For Honor will be launched on February 14, 2017, available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
