The upcoming game Forever Skies is set on Earth which has been ravaged by a global disaster. The game brings its players to experience the effects of long-term global warming.
FOREVER SKIES FEATURES EARTH DESTROYED BY CLIMATE CHANGE
Offering an action survival game that is set on Earth but a hundred years after climate change has destroyed it.
Players would have to adapt to the erratic weather, scavenge for resources and create a shelter.
Players will step into the shoes of a scientist who is able to travel using an airship that can be customized. Researching for new technologies as well as learning how to grow your own food is something that you have to do in the game.
Game developer, Far From Home is diving into one of the defining issues of our time which is climate change. They would want to show in their game the long-term effects of climate change like unpredictable weather, dust clouds and more.
The game is not here to solve climate change but it would serve as an eye-opener that will hopefully bring the new generation to look for a solution for it.
Forever Skies is now available in Early Access via Steam. Console releases are expected soon.
