What are Fortnite Bunker chests?

The Fortnite Bunker Chests are chests that come with weapons that are epic to legendary in rarity. The Bunker Chests were introduced in Season 6, Chapter 2. The weapons available could be rocket launchers or even the pump shotgun and more.

The locations of the chests are all over the Season 6 map and it is not guaranteed that the chests will be available at every round. Although that is the case, we are sharing with you the locations of every Bunker Chest available on the map.

Chests that are located in the open field should be unearthed using a pickaxe. Once they appear, you will be able to open them.

If you’d rather see each location via video, below is a YouTube video that features 18 of the Bunker Chests locations.

Are the Bunker Chests Worth It?

They are worth it if you are aiming to get strong loot. Each chest is guaranteed to have the best weapons. But since the chests do not always spawn, the risk is quite high to get them.

It may be possible that other players are also aiming for the chest, if it is not there, then you could be caught in the crossfire.

Season 6 also comes with the option to craft your own weapons, if you are not able to get your hands on any of the Bunker Chests, another option is to create your own weapons. The new feature will allow you to create prehistoric weapons. These are weapons that have not been seen in the game before.
