A new Destiny 2 video was released by IGN and Bungie which introduces the changes done in the game mode Control.

You will get to see about six minutes of gameplay as well as hear the voices of Destin Legarie, the Senior Feature Producer of IGN and Lars Bakken, the Crucible Design Lead of Bungie.

The game mode Control was a popular mode in Destiny and it is making a comeback in Destiny 2. It is a 4v4 game mode that will have you pitted against each other in a kind of like capture the flag gameplay. For Destiny 2, the gameplay was made more efficient by the devs of the game. One change done is that the ‘A’ and ‘C’ capture points were already pre-captured and the only capture point is ‘B’. Auto capturing is now a thing and players no longer have to neutralize a capture point. Also, Bakken mentioned that there was a change in timing as well.

A subtle change can also be seen like the flags being translucent when you come near it as not to impair your vision. This time around the devs wanted Control to be more competitive, easily learnable and understandable.
