A YouTuber named Westie uploaded a 12-minute video of the Battlefield 1 single player gameplay. The video shows one of the missions in the game called the Storm of Steel mission. You will get to see tanks as well as some close-quarter combat.

As you watch the video, it will have a notice at the beginning saying “What follows is frontline combat, you are not expected to survive”. This disclaimer quickly puts you in your place.

You will also notice as you watch the video, that whenever you die, there will be different names that will appear on the screen. We are not 100% sure, however, we are thinking these are names of the brave soldiers that fought in the Great War.

The mission Storm of Steel is actually one of the missions included in the Battlefield 1 EA/Origin Access Play First Trial. If you were one of those who was able to subscribe for EA/Origin Access, this and other missions will be available to you first by October 13th.

As with our previous post, the single player campaign of Battlefield 1 includes different protagonists as well as an anthology of war stories coming from the different sides of the people who were there.
