E3 2019 will be the start of Google Stadia’s regular stream. This will be a dedicated stream about Google Stadia’s updates and announcements. The stream is called Stadia Connect and it’s very first episode is all about what they offer like the games available as well as the cost of the service.

Let’s talk about the games that are available in the service first since that is the heart of it. Phil Harrison from Google confirmed that Larian Studios will be working on Baldur’s Gate 3. Other games that were already able to come out are available as well. Get to check out the complete list below:

Other publishers said that they will be supporting Stadia including Capcom, Electronic Arts, and Rockstar. No news though as to what games are available.

The goal of Stadia is to make high-end gaming available to everyone. So different internet speed requirements are available. Check out the breakdown of the internet speeds below:

  • ~10 Mbps and up — 720p | 60 fps | Stereo
  • ~20 Mbps and up — 1080p | HDR | 60 fps | 5.1 Surround
  • ~30 Mbps and up — 4K | HDR | 60 fps | 5.1 Surround

There will be two options for the Stadia, one of which is to pay for the subscription itself and the other one will be for the individual games. If you choose to go the route of the subscription, that is called the Stadia Pro and it is $9.99 per month. The subscription will come with a library of older games as well as Destiny 2 The Collection for a limited time. For the latest games, you would need to purchase them. The other option is the Stadia Base where you will have access to the games that you have purchased in the past anytime you want without the Pro subscription.

A limited Founders Pack Edition is also available for pre-orders. This will come with Chromecast Ultra which will allow you to play on your TV. It will also come with a limited edition night-blue Stadia Controller as well as two 3-month subscriptions (one for you and another for a friend). This is available for $129.00.

Also, Stadia will only be launching in 14 countries. The service will be available in other countries in 2020 and after.

  • United States
  • Canada
  • United Kingdom
  • Ireland
  • France
  • Germany
  • Italy
  • Spain
  • Netherlands
  • Belgium

Google Stadia Pro will be launching on November 2019 and the Base will be on 2020. More announcements will be available soon.
