Here Are The Most Anticipated Games Of The First Half Of 2019
Last year (2018) brought us a loot of great games for both PC and Consoles. We saw and enjoyed games like Monster Hunter World, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Sea of Thieves, Valkyria Chronicles 4, Far Cry 5, God of War, Red Dead Redemption 2 and so much more.
This year would be no different as we present to you the most anticipated games of the first half of 2019.

1. Resident Evil 2 – January 25
Resident Evil 2 is an action, survival and horror video game which is developed and published by Capcom. This is also the remake of the original game of the same name. The game is set two months after the events of Resident Evil 1 in Racoon City which was infected with the biological weapon called the T-Virus turning everyone into zombies.
You get to choose from two characters to play with, either police officer Leon S. Kennedy or student Claire Redfield. They first go to Raccoon Police Department, only to find out that everybody has been killed.
What they have to do now is to search for survivors if there are any. You will be equipped with some firearms and limited ammunition in order to fight off monsters and solve puzzles.
2. Kingdom Hearts 3 – January 29
Save the universe from the Heartless invaders by helping Sora, Donald Duck, Goofy and a wide range of other Disney and Pixar characters. Each character that you meet will give you strength and various unlocks in order to build your character. Get to use your trusty sword and fight off the Heartless.
This is the epic conclusion to the Dark Seeker saga and you are able to meet Captain Jack Sparrow, Elsa, Rapunzel, Woody, Winnie The Pooh, and other characters that we grew up to love.
3. Metro Exodus – February 15
Metro Exodus is an action video game developed by 4A Games and edited by Deep Silver. The game is inspired by the novels of Dmitry Glukhovsky. The year is 2036 just after a nuclear war ravaged the Earth and only a handful survived.
You play as Artyom who leads a group of Spartan Rangers amid the flames of civil war, mutant beasts, inexplicable horrors and poisoned elements. You and your companion will travel east across the continent to find a new life.
The game offers non-linear levels with a story that spans a whole year through all seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter, allowing you to explore the vast Russian wilderness and giving you choices that will determine the fate of your comrades.
4. Crackdown 3 – February 15
Crackdown 3 is an open-world action and adventure video game developed by Reagent Games and Sumo Digital and published by Microsoft Studios. Play as an agent with superpowers in this sandbox game. You must stop crime and increase your expansion.
Explore the huge futuristic city and run its streets with cars that transform. Make sure to upgrade the skills of your super agent so you can fight as a leader.
A multiplayer mode is available that allows you to play with up to 4 players. Or you can join 10 friends online and blow up things. Another remarkable feature of the game is that the city is 100% destructible.
5. Anthem – February 22
Anthem is an action and role-playing video game developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts. It takes place in an open world where you and your friends act as Freelancers. You can play solo or form a team of four members working in multiplayer mode and leaving the civilization to explore the surrounding landscapes.
Venture into the world of the unknown, where huge hostile creatures roam around lost ruins and collect special and unique items such as metal or weapons to help you explore. You get to experience events that change the world.
6. Trials Rising – February 26
Trials Rising is a 2.5D multiplayer platform game developed and published by Ubisoft for PC. Ubisoft invites you to experience difficult tracks around the world, such as the Great Wall of China and the Eiffel Tower. Drive the new hilarious Bike Tandem and have your friends try to control the same bike.
The game offers an online mode so you can compete with players from around the world for glory in a range of tasks. Tracks range from lawn grass with ramps made of random junk materials to the world’s most famously designed circuits.
You can also create and share unique levels with the player community by combining the 10,000 items available in Track Central.
7. Devil May Cry 5 – March 8
Devil May Cry 5 is an action and adventure video game developed and edited by Capcom. The story of the game takes place several years after Devil May Cry 4.
This time, Nero was able to create his own demon hunting agency. He does not have an office for that, just a van with a neon sign saying “Devil May Cry” that was given to him by Dante.
In addition, Nero now has a new robotic hand called “Devil Breaker“. This new arm was manufactured by the new engineer of the agency, NICO. He replaces Nero’s Devil Bringer arm, which had been removed by a mysterious silhouette.
8. The Division 2 – March 15
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is an action and role-playing game developed by Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment and edited by Ubisoft. It takes place seven months after the spread of the virus. This time, Washington DC, the most protected city in the world, is in danger and you are the last hope to save the city and the world!
You can now explore and clean Washington DC from the enemies who invade it. The Division 2 offers you a good shooting experience with a wide range of weapons and challenges throughout the city.
9. Sekiro Shadows Die Twice – March 22
Sekiro Shadows Die Twice is an action and adventure video game developed by FromSoftware and published by Activision for PC. Take the role of the wolf in one arm, a shameful and disfigured warrior whose life has recently been saved. You are devoted to the protection of a descendant of an ancient lineage.
Your commitment to him has made you an opponent of deadly enemy forces, such as the dangerous Ashina clan. You have failed in your role as protector since the descendant was captured by these enemy forces.
You must now devote your life to recovering it and restoring your honor. Eliminate all who stand on your path and do all that is necessary to obtain victorious revenge. Beware of hazards in the dark and crooked world.
10. Days Gone – April 26
Days Gone is an action and adventure game developed by SIE Bend Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. You are a bounty hunter named Deacon St. John who must wage a ruthless fight for his survival. In a world plunged in depression, you are looking for reasons to prolong your existence.
Natural selection will not let you perish without a fight as you discover great mutant creatures that now serve you as new enemies.
