Highlights of Nintendo Direct E3 2019

As with previous E3’s, Nintendo Streamed a pre-recorded presentation and not a live one.

The video had been about 40 minutes long but is packed with so many games. Get to watch the highlights of the stream below:

SUPER SMASH BROS. ULTIMATE

Nintendo got the stream going with the reveal of the newest addition to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s roster — Dragon Quest’s Hero. Hero will be able to switch between his Dragon Quest 3, 4, 8 and 11 variants, most likely as alternate costumes. You can check out his pretty epic reveal below:

And just before the end of the stream, another character has been introduced and it is Rare’s Banjo-Kazzoie duo. They had been last seen on Gameboy Advance. You can check out their trailer below:

No information was given as to when both characters will launch.

LUIGI’S MANSION 3

Yoshiaki Koizumi and Doug Bowser showed off Luigi’s Mansion 3 on Stream with of course the appearance of Bowser the arch-nemesis of Mario. The game’s trailer shared how the third installment will play and you can check out the trailer below:

Luigi’s Mansion 3 will launch this year.

THE LEGEND OF ZELDA LINK’S AWAKENING

Another video for the remake of The Legend of Zelda, Link’s Awakening has been shared and it features a new option where players can create their own dungeons using the parts that they have collected from previous stages. Get great rewards when you complete your custom-made dungeons. Get to check-out the trailer below:

Link’s Awakening is set to launch on September 20, 2019.

THE WITCHER 3 WILD HUNT

This could have been the farthest thing in your mind but Nintendo shared that CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt is coming to the Nintendo Switch this year! Check out the trailer below:

It does indicate “Complete Edition” which may mean that the Switch port will come with a post-launch DLC and upgrades. We could expect some downgrades in the graphics department but the thought of being able to play The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt anywhere is absolutely amazing.

FIRE EMBLEM THREE HOUSES

A brand new animated trailer was shared for Fire Emblem Three Houses and it shares a little more about the game’s story. Watch it below:

Fire Emblem Three Houses will be launching on July 26, 2019.

NO MORE HEROES 3

No More Heroes 3 shared a new trailer and it comes with over the top action and so much personality, get to watch the video trailer below:

No More Heroes 3 will be launching in 2020.

DAEMON X MACHINA

Mech game Daemon X Machina had a new E3 trailer featuring cinematic cutscenes as well as gameplay portions. The game is also looking really good! Check that out below:

Daemon X Machina will be launching on September 13, 2019.

ASTRAL CHAIN

Platinum Game’s next adventure, Astral Chain got a new trailer which is looking sharper than ever! Watch the trailer below:

Astral Chain is set to launch on August 20, 2019.

MARVEL ULTIMATE ALLIANCE 3 THE BLACK ORDER

This third installment of the Marvel-based action RPG series is a Switch-exclusive game. It comes with a new E3 trailer that gives us a taste of the game’s story and gameplay. Check it out below:

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 is set to launch on July 19, 2019.

NINTENDO SWITCH SOFTWARE LINEUP

A five-minute highlight reel of games had also been shared by Nintendo for the games that are coming to the Nintendo Switch in 2019 and beyond. You can check that out below:

THE LEGEND OF ZELDA BREATH OF THE WILD SEQUEL

To close Nintendo Direct’s E3 2019 is the Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild Sequel. The game is currently in development, get to watch the mind-blowing teaser below:

It may be possible that the game won’t be called Breath of the Wild 2 but it is in its early stages as of now, so we have to wait a while longer to confirm this.
