Hockey And Snowballs Available In Destiny 2 Winter Event
Let’s welcome back The Dawning which is the Destiny 2 Winter Event. Bungie first released The Dawning last winter and it will be welcomed back in Destiny 2.
A hockey mini-game is available in The Dawning, this actually allows players to throw snowballs at other players that could actually deal some damages. Right now the mini-game available is soccer that can be played through the Farm. The Dawning hockey minigame as well as the Farm’s soccer game in quite similar, a hockey puck will be kicked around and scores are earned when players are able to kick this inside a goal.
New armor sets are also available to players. Bungie teased with just the gauntlets, the chest piece, and helmet but not the full armor sets announced during TwitchCon. The sets were able to keep the blue hue from the first Destiny game.
Sparrow Racing which is a fan favorite will probably not make a comeback since Bungie has not made any confirmation about this as of yet. A post from Gamespot said that the Destiny 2 Winter Event could only focus on the winter games that was mentioned above.
This event only runs for a limited time only. At the end of this event, items, as well as other events, will become unavailable. So, do take advantage of it once it becomes accessible.
Destiny 2 officially launches on October 24, 2017 on PC. It’s already available to play on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
