It is time to say goodbye to the Bethesda.net launcher which will be closing on May 11th.

BETHESDA LAUNCHER GAMES TO MIGRATE TO STEAM

The games that you own on the Bethesda Launcher can be migrated to Steam up until May 11th so that they wouldn’t be lost.

WHAT CAN YOU TRANSFER OVER FROM THE BETHESDA LAUNCHER TO STEAM?

Everything that you purchased on the Bethesda Launcher can be transferred to Steam as well as your saved files. This can be done for free.

Not all the save file transfers will be automatic, some of them should be done manually.

There is one game that cannot be transferred to Steam and that is Wolfenstein: Youngblood.

Automatic transfers are available for virtual currency, DLC purchases, as well as in-game skins.

IS A BETHESDA ACCOUNT STILL NEEDED ONCE TRANSFERRED?

Yes. Most of the games that are migrated from the Bethesda launcher would still need a Bethesda account to play like Fallout 76.

WILL THE BETHESDA FRIENDS LIST TRANSFER OVER TO STEAM?

Yes. Games on Bethesda.net friends list will merge with Steam. This includes games like Fallout 76, DOOM Eternal, Rage 2, Deathloop, and The Elder Scrolls: Legends.

WILL BETHESDA.NET GAME CODES STILL BE USABLE

Yes. If you have some Bethesda.net game codes left, you can still redeem it on Steam.

CAN THE BETHESDA ACCOUNT BE MIGRATED TO XBOX OR PLAYSTATION?

No. The Bethesda.net account can only be migrated to Steam.

WHAT IF I ACCIDENTALLY LINK MY BETHESDA.NET ACCOUNT TO THE WRONG STEAM ACCOUNT?

You have a limited number of times to link and unlink your Bethesda.net launcher to Steam until May 11th.

WHAT IF I ALSO HAVE THE SAME BETHESDA GAME ON STEAM?

The game on your Bethesda launcher will still be migrated. However, nothing additional will be given to you for anything that you already have on Steam.

WHEN CAN I START TO MIGRATE GAMES TO STEAM?

Transfering the Bethesda launcher games to Steam can start on April 27th.

HOW TO TRANSFER GAMES SAVES FROM BETHESDA TO STEAM?

It is easy to transfer your saves from Bethesda to Steam. First, look for your Bethesda game save location then copy everything in the “Save” file. Paste this on your Steam save location of the same game.

• Default Bethesda Save Location: C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games\id Software\<game>\base\savegame
• Default Steam Save Location: C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games\id Software\<game>\base

Do take note that the save game locations could be different if you did not install the game on the default drive.
