Impact Winter Launch Date Postponed Until May
An announcement from Mojo Bones and Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe said that the first Impact Winter launch date of April was moved a month later on May. The game “needs a little bit more time to completed,” according to them. This gives them a bit more time to work on the game until it officially releases on May 27, 2017. The announced release date is so far only for the game’s digital release for PC via Steam.
Mojo Bones Ltd Co-Founder and Designer Stuart Ryall said in a post via the the game’s website that the game became a lot bigger than [they] expected,” due to this, they had to delay the game’s release. He further describes the game as “a pretty complex beast with lots of different systems and mechanics.”
“Everything is in place, but one of our main priorities in the run up to release has been making sure that the initial stages of the game aren’t too overwhelming and that the overall experience is evenly balanced. Given the scope of the project and our team size, it’s taking a little longer than expected. Ultimately it is all in the aid of giving everyone the best experience possible which is the No. 1 priority, said Ryall.
