January 2020 Top Game Releases
The new decade is starting the gaming world slowly as there are only a few notable games arriving in the first month of the year. Even though that is the case, the titles that will be launching are actually huge. Check out the games that you should be watching out for this month.
MONSTER HUNTER WORLD ICEBORNE
Release Date: January 9
The Monster Hunter Iceborn expansion first launched for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in September 2019. The PC launch of the expansion will be this January 9th. This will add new monsters, a new location, and new weapon types that come with new moves and combos. There is also a new quest difficulty and a whole bunch of new content.
DRAGON BALL Z KAKAROT
Release Date: January 17
Dragon Ball Z Kakarot will be retelling the complete Dragon Ball Z story. Fans of the game will be able to relive Goku’s epic battles as well as experience the everyday life of the characters like eating, fishing, training and the like. Bandai Namco also said that the game will come with new story details that will better explain the game’s lore.
KINGDOM HEARTS 3 REMIND
Release Date: January 23
The new DLC of Kingdom Hearts 3 called ReMind is arriving this month. The expansion will have Sora saving Kairi. To do this, he will be going to the Keyblade Graveyard where he has to look for the hearts of the seven guardians of light. The Kingdom Hearts 3 Re Mind expansion is launching for the PlayStation 4 this month. Xbox One players will be getting theirs a month later.
WARCRAFT 3 REFORGED
Release Date: January 28
Warcraft 3 Reforged is the remaster of both Warcraft 3 Reign of Chaos and its expansion called The Frozen Throne. This will come with reworked visuals and 4K resolution. Get to relive the game’s thrilling campaign and go on multiplayer melees. Players are also able to replay classic custom maps as well as scenarios of the original version of the game.
As you can see, there are only a few games launching this month, but these are definitely big games. Technically some of these are expansions and one is a remake, so there is just one new game launching for the month. But seriously you cannot go wrong with any of these games that are launching this month.
