Launch Trailer and System Requirements Revealed For Greedfall
The new role-playing video game from developer Spiders and publisher Focus Home Interactive is gearing up for its official launch. For fans of games like Dragon Age RPGs, this is actually a game that is right up your ally.
Greedfall is inspired by the age of colonization and is set in the 17th century. This, however, won’t be played like what the history books are portraying since the decisions that the player makes as well as the consequences that come after those decisions will shape both the world and story of the game. Players will be stepping into the shoes of the noble De Sardet who has set his eyes on looking for a cure for the epidemic that is killing off the continent.

In addition to the main character, there will be five more companions in the game. Each of these five will have different combat styles as well as personalities. Another thing that will get affected with your choices as De Sardet, is the relationship between each character as you progress in the game. This will also affect the ending for each player as they finish their main storyline.
Even though the game is inspired by history, it actually leans more towards fantasy. There will be great emphasis on magic spells. The type of magic each character will have will depend upon the location where the character is originally from. Players will also have an extensive skill tree that will have over 80 skills to choose from.

Greedfall is set to launch on the 10th of September and is available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
