Limited Access Given To Players Through Mass Effect Andromeda Trial
According to Fernando Melo, the producer, Mass Effect Andromeda Trial Single Player Campaign will give EA and Origin Access members limited access to the gameplay.
According to Melo, players can play the campaign but it is “gated”. This means that up to some point, players can no longer continue. However, the game’s multiplayer mode is available without any restrictions.
@Xartain you can play it all in sp if you want, but it is gated (you can’t cont story after a point, but can explore or restart for ex)— Fernando Melo (@DiscoBabaloo) March 5, 2017
The Mass Effect Andromeda trial is only for a maximum of 10 hours.
Playing in the multiplayer campaign can gain some rewards for you in the singleplayer campaign, said Melo. Players will get to receive “Pathfinder Rewards,” that includes loot boxes by completing the multiplayer missions. The Gold Item Loot Box and the Research Data Loot Box are examples of these.
