Limited-Time World of Warcraft Transfers Available For Free

World of Warcraft Classic is experiencing some long waits as well as some server login issues. Blizzard is not standing idle as this is happening though and they are trying their best to fix the problem. Recently, what they have decided to do is to add more realms and giving players the chance to transfer their characters for free.

Players are able to do the character transfer from either the select screen or the queue screen. We have also provided for you the list of possible realm transfers as seen in the Blizzard EU forums:

ENGLISH

• From SHAZZRAH to DRAGONFANG
• From GOLEMAGG to DRAGONFANG
• From FIREMAW to EARTHSHAKER
• From GEHENNAS to EARTHSHAKER
• From MORGAINE to JUDGEMENT
• From RAZORGORE to BLOODFANG

FRENCH

• From SULFURON to FINKLE

GERMAN

• From LUCIFRON to HEARTSTRIKER
• From VENOXIS to HEARSTRIKER

Take note that Dragonfang, Earthshaker, and Hearstriker are brand new realms

Some restrictions are also placed by Blizzard in order to prevent players from transferring their character to a different realm. Guild leaders are not able to move realms. Also, characters with active auctions listings or bids and those who have mail are not able to transfer realms. Another thing is that if players already have existing characters on the target PvP server, they are not able to transfer their character if it is from the rival faction.

Other important things that you would want to know before transferring realms are that once you have made the transfer, you might want to rename your character especially if the name that you are using is already taken in your target realm. Also, once you have moved, you can no longer reverse it, trying to contact Blizzard’s Customer Support will not help either.

When the target realm gets full, the free transfers will automatically close without any prior notice. Blizzard is encouraging players to do the free transfers immediately especially if you play in a group.

World of Warcraft Classic is now available for those who own an active World of Warcraft subscription.
