Bungie Announces Marathon

 

Bungie, the developers responsible for Destiny 2 and the Halo franchise has announced the reboot of the 1994 sci-fi first-person shooter, Marathon.

  What Is Marathon Gam  

The official website of Marathon describes the game as a sci-fi PvP extraction shooter where players battle for wealth and survive zones that are persistent.

The game offers a PvP experience, however, Bungie did not confirm if it will be a live service game. But we do see in Bungie’s website that their studio is looking to employ a “large-scale high-visibility live game.”

As of the moment, Marathon doesn’t have an official release date but what we do know is that the game will be available for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
