MARVEL’S GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY ON XBOX GAME PASS
Square Enix has announced that when Marve’s Guardians of the Galaxy launched it did so to underwhelming sales. However, that all changed when the game became available on the Xbox Game Pass.
It has been reported that Microsoft paid $10 million so that Guardians of the Galaxy would be added to the Xbox Game Pass and this proved to be a wise decision.
Mary DeMarie, the Narrative Director of the game said that by adding the game to the Xbox Game Pass, it has since then gotten a wider range of audience.
They are hoping that adding the game to the Microsoft Xbox Game Pass for PC and consoles would help the game get continued benefits long term.
Jean-Francois Dugas, the Creative Director shared to Eurogamer that people should know that Guardians of the Galaxy is a new IP, so sales are expected to be slow.
As for the game’s sequel, there are no plans as of yet as the team is taking a “holiday” which is well-earned.
