Mega Drive 2 has been announced by SEGA. It is a mini retro console that comes with 50 games from the Mega Drive and Mega CD.

SEGA MINI DRIVE 2 MINI REVEALED

 

The Sega Mega Drive or also known as Sega Genesis in the United States is one of the most loved consoles in history.

  Sega Mega Drive 2 Mini release date?  

Sega will be launching the Sega Mini Drive 2 later in the year. It will come with 50 games!

  • Fantasy Zone
  • Magical Taruruuto-kun
  • Shining in the Darkness
  • Thunder Force IV
  • Virtua Racing

Mega CD:

  • Mansion of Hidden Souls
  • Popful Mail
  • Shining Force CD
  • Silpheed
  • Sonic the Hedgehog CD
 

This will be the second attempt of Sega to share with the new generation of fans the Mega Drive games. The Sega Mega Drive Mini has been launched in 2019.

However, the Mega Drive Mini had some issues that didn’t appeal to the targetted audience. Hopefully, the Sega Mega Drive 2 Mini console wouldn’t have the same problems.

The Sega Mega Drive 2 Mini is set to release on October 27 in Japan. As of the moment, there are no launch dates available for Europe or the Americas.
